Sedecia Cook

Sedecia Cook is a seasoned healthcare technology and operations executive with 30 years of experience at Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina. As Director of Benefit Files, she leads teams responsible for managing developers, data analysts, and benefit file analysts who design and maintain the systems that support complex health plan benefits across multiple lines of business, including national accounts, Medicare Advantage, and federal employee programs.

Throughout her career, Sedecia has been recognized for her ability to bridge business strategy and technology, guiding large-scale system enhancements, automation initiatives, and cross-functional projects that improve operational performance and ensure accurate benefit administration. She works closely with executive leadership and information systems teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals and evolving healthcare regulations.

Sedecia holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University and brings extensive leadership, strategic planning, and industry expertise to her role as a member of the Board of Advisors . Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
