Serial entrepreneur, Phaedra is the owner and operator of Seriously Positive, LLC. The business operates under five guiding principles:
Under the Seriously Positive umbrella, Phaedra has developed seminars for persons at different stages to be reminded of who they are, whose they are and what they are worth; developed a training program that teaches/reminds people of the responsibilities associated with owning/occupying a property and being part of a community; published a children’s book; created apparel and accessories containing the guiding principles; and rehabilitated vacant properties in Baltimore City.
Phaedra recognizes the challenge in people maintaining a healthy mental state when their living conditions are inadequate and/or they have to see blight consistently. As a native of Baltimore City, her goal is to help to rebuild properties and communities in the city, ultimately providing citizens with a higher sense of pride and self-worth. After
enjoying a 27-year career in human resources serving as VP of HR for a health care organization in her last position, she joined ReBUILD Metro as the Associate Director of Programming, Planning and Promotion to further her passion for community and real estate development.
Phaedra is a graduate of Western High School in Baltimore, MD, Syracuse University (BA: Economics) and the University of Baltimore (MBA: Human Resources Management). She serves as the Board President for the Unity Center in Baltimore; serves on the Foundation Board for the University of Baltimore and is a member of the DC
Regional Council for Syracuse University, the Homeowner Services Committee for Habitat for Humanity Chesapeake, and the Baltimore Rotary Club.
